Calling all brides! This is the creme’ de la creme’ of the detailed wedding! If you are a bride in need of some ideas…..well, you’ve come to the right place, baby!
Jessica and Wade were married on June 12, 2010. Their wedding day was just beautiful, once you got past the heat! Oh, well, we do live in the south! Ruthie, Jessica mom, put her heart and soul into each and every aspect of the wedding. With only 6 months to get ready for the biggest day of Jessica and Wade’s life, there was no time to spare. They had so many beautiful details……from the dance floor with their initial “F” in the middle, to the pergola, that was built especially for the wedding, to the elegance of the flower arrangements, that were everywhere, to the custom outside daybed, filled with pillows that carried the “casual chic” theme, to the candles, candles, and more candles…the list goes on and on! It was a wedding photographers dream!
The ceremony was held in the beautiful First Baptist Church, Houston, MS and the reception was held behind Jessica’s parents’ home, also in Houston. There is no way I can show you all the “wonderfulness” of their day, so I will just let you go to their gallery and take all the time you need to really enjoy their day. But, I will show you a sample of some of my favorites! Have I told you lately that I love being a wedding photographer! Well, I do!!!!
Part of what made this a special day for Jessica is all the little things. The morning of the wedding, Jessica’s mom gave her a special gift to put around her bouquet. It was a handkerchief that had belonged to her great grandmother with a flower from Jessica’s mother’s wedding dress attached to it. I’m sure there was more that a few tears shed that morning.

This is the real Jessica, laughing….

Girl, you are stunning…..work it!

I love this old coke box!

I love this daybed. It says to me, “come on and sit a spell”.

The dance floor….oh my!

River birch trees are my absolute fav. Look at all the candles.

Yummy!

I loved all the sophisticated touches of bringing the inside outside. Here are a few of Jessica and Wade’s engagement photos.

That’s moss on the “F” initial. The simplicity of the flowers was to die for!

This is a look from under the food tent.

To date, this is my favorite wedding cake! There is just something about how uncomplicated, yet beautiful this was. I think alot has to do with the green hydrangeas! I’m just sayin’.

Candles, candles, and more candles……did I lie? Love it!

The children were not forgotten, oh no! There was a special section at the reception just for them!

I never get tired of photography. Especially when it’s on a day like this. Happiness all around! Thanks, Jessica and Wade, I had a blast being your wedding photographer. I wish you a lifetime of happiness with blessings abundant!
